Compagno: Redefining the Identity of Brazil’s Largest Online Insurance Broker



In 2022, Compagno, Brazil’s largest online insurance broker, embarked on a strategic transformation to modernize its presence in the digital marketplace. The project involved a complete brand redesign and the creation of a corporate visual identity that reflected innovation and technology without compromising the trust and credibility essential to the insurance industry.

The challenge was to move away from a traditional and conservative aesthetic, adapting the brand to a more dynamic and digitally native context. Inspired by the design trends of modern digital financial institutions, the new identity strikes a balance between cutting-edge visuals and accessibility, projecting a forward-thinking and technological look while maintaining a sense of reliability and security.

The redesign retained the company’s primary blue color but reimagined it with a more vibrant and saturated tone, eliminating its previous cold and distant appearance. To enhance the palette, warm tones such as orange and yellow were introduced, injecting energy and dynamism into the brand. This combination was strategically designed to engage contemporary audiences and reinforce the company’s digital-first identity.

Beyond the comprehensive visual identity redesign, the project included the creation of an innovative portal built entirely from scratch, now serving as the company’s central operational platform. Deliverables also included a brandbook, branding strategy, website, and app, forming a fully integrated visual and functional ecosystem.

As the design team leader, I ensured that every element of the project embodied the brand’s values of modernity, innovation, and trust. The impact was immediate: the client embraced the new identity enthusiastically, and the portal has since become a key driver of the company’s growth, supporting continuous expansion.

This fresh approach positioned Compagno as a benchmark in the online insurance market, demonstrating that it is possible to combine technological innovation with the sense of security customers demand.
